Question

Table Rows not showing up and appear to be uneditable.

I am using a table to make a calendar in my current project and rows are seemingly unreachable. When I go to table set up it says that ther are the right number of rows, 5, but only 3 are showing. I thought that I maybe just expanded a row to much and knocked it out ofthe boarder but when I use whole column selection on the whole table and try to resize them all only the three rows are affected. When I try to edit it to ad rows then make the change, a trick that has worked before, it still only shows the rows that are there to start with. Please help there is important information on the rows that are missing and I know they are still ther and I would really rather not have to re do all that work.

Do you have a little red plus sign at the bottom of the frame? This means you have overset text. Text that would flow into the frame or a linked frame if it could fit.

Make sure the frame is selected and View > Screen Mode is set to Normal.

Usually when text (including tables) goes into overset and refuses to flow into a new frame, the problem is that the text has something in it that won't fit in the new frame. It could be that you have several table rows all set to Keep with Next row. They're all doing as they're told, but those rows can't fit together in the frame. It could be that you have one row set to a depth greater than your page. Same thing: It can't fit in the frame, so it jumps to the next frame, but the next frame is the same size so the text display just ends, even though the text is really there but not showing. My usual solution for this is to just make the frame really deep (or wide) until the problem text fits.
