Text on bleed - text block on books

I'm having troubles figuring out how to print text on the text block of the book. I've figured that it has something to do with the bleed. I have tried to make an InDesign document where I wrote a notebook and placed it up to the bleed and paste and place it on several pages. For each time I paste and placed it I moved it in 1 time so that you would have a different look on each page.

Can anyone help me figure this out?
I think my problem is that I need to figure out how to print on both sides of the paper, and maybe I need to move it more than 1 time on each paper.

Hope someone can help me. Please ask if you are not sure what I mean.

Hi Emil,

I would not try it with using bleed.

I think the best way to achieve this is to see if a print provider is able to do this with already bound stock.

Uwe

Maybe you could cobble a device together whereby you screen print individual trimmed book blocks.

This kind of things are done after the printing and binding proces, as it is printed on the side. There is no way for you to design this on the page. Talk to your printer for these extras.
