Hi,

I want to add a 3 column grid to my existing InDesign document, I'm selecting the page thumbnail then Layout>Margins and Columns and specifying 3 columns, clicking ok, but nothing happens. Any advice?

Thanks!

Did you DOUBLE click on the page icon to make sure that is the page you see?

Are you in Preview mode?

Also realize that this will only change the guide lines, not the columns in a Text Frame.

Are you using Primary Text frames by the way?

Hi seonam25595963,

please show some screenshots done with View > Viewing Mode > Normal so that all guides are visible.

Did you perhaps disable the view of guides in the View menu?

What's your version of InDesign?
What's your version of the operating system?

Thanks,
Uwe Laubender
