EPUB3 fixed layout bad rendering on Google Play Books

Hi

I've tried to export different books to fixed layout using the latest InDesign CC (2018) and I always have rendering problems with Google Play Books.

The exported epub looks good on iBooks, ADE and Kobo (tested on macOS and iOS). But not when opened on Play Books (iOS).

On an old Play Books 3.1.2 the book looks good, but on the latest iOS version (4.2.1) there are pages where the words overlap, some where images are shown on the wrong position and, sometimes, Play Books just crash on turning the page.

I've checked it with epubcheck in case there was any errors but there are none.

Besides the turn-page-crash which is a Play Books bug, ¿does anyone else have problems with Google Play Books or is it just me?

UPDATE: The epub was tested on Google Play Books 4.2.5 on Android and it looks fine.

I'm having similar problems right now.  I don't have an Android handy, so I've been testing all the e-readers on my ipad.  Google Play Books is th only one not working.  And it's REALLY not working.  Much like yours.

When you first had troubles viewing your book in Google Play was it on an ipad or an android?
