Question

Next page button not working on page with .swf animation

Please help!! I am doing a presentation (InDesign exported to interactive .pdf) with buttons to go to next and previous pages. They all work perfectly except on one slide where I have a simple Flash animation, exported to .swf from a separate InDesign document. I then placed that .swf in the page on my main presentation doc. When I export to interactive .pdf the animation works but the next page button does not, except when I press it a couple of times it skipped the following page, which has a similar animation.

What on earth could be wrong?

It could be a case of the imported .swf animation obscuring the button in the object hierarchy.

Try moving the SWF below the navigation buttons.

The real answer here is stop using SWF. It's all but dead, completely unsupported on mobile devices, and won't work without flash player installed. Simply not worth troubleshooting.
