"Fill frame proportionally" does not work in Data Merge

The function "fill frame proportionally" does not work when I am using Data Merge to place images into frames. However, the function works excellently when I am placing images under normal circumstances. Does anyone have a solution?

      Hi,

      Data Merge has and follows its own fitting/placement options. Data merge may causes any auto-fit properties applied on frame previously to disappear.

      Did you try looking into the "Content placement options" for the Data Merge?
