SWF files not autoplaying in interactive PDF

Im trying to set up an interactive PDF, and I've exported the animation as SWF files and placed them into the indesign doc. I'm exporting as an interactive PDF but the SWF is still coming up as the flash icon (shown below) and wont play until I click on the icon! I have play on page load clicked in the animation panel in the original animation. Where am I going wrong??

Experiment using, as an alternative, InDesign’s Publish Online or FXL ePub.

Use Swivel to convert your SWF animations to video files, and embed those instead. In InDesign, turn on autoplay.

Well, do you have any other suggestions to play animation in an interactive PDF?

I have flash player installed. So it does play, just not automatically. The presentation will also only be viewed on desktop.

I wrote this a couple of years ago. It's even more true today than  it was then: https://www.boblevine.us/its-okay-to-say-no-to-interactive-pdf/

And just because you have flash player installed doesn't mean anyone else will.

The only other person to be using the document has flash player. Just need the swf to automatically play.

Forget it. SWF is a deadend. Won’t play without flash player installed and won’t work on any mobile device.

You’re wasting your time.
