P: Compare View on 2nd Monitor shows no image on Zoom.

After LR Classic 13.0 and update 13.0.1 Lightroom is behaving weird on my second monitor.
Before I could use the compare mode on the second monitor when in the develop module on the first without any issues.
Could zoom in and out on the comparisons.
After the update this behaves odd.

Sometimes it will zoom in and out as before but most of the time it doesn't and one of the selected pics for comparison won't even show (just black) or sometimes even zooms in at a different percentage compared to the other. This only occurs when in the Develop module.

Switching from Compare to Loupe on the second monitor sometimes won't work either - display goes black.

When I switch to the Library module on the first screen there's no issue.

I've got a very robust Windows system with 32 GB of RAM and a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti 8GB of RAM which before (v 12.5) just did the job without any trouble.

Seems like Adobe rushed to do this update but forgot to test it thouroughly.

Having upgraded to the latest (December) version of  the NVIDIA Studio Graphics Driver (546.33) before now upgrading from LR Classic 12.5 to LR Classic 13.1, I can confirm (en anglais) that the bug present in LR 13.0-13.02 has been fixed at least for the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti running under Windows 11 with that driver.  Both Compare View and zooming in Develop mode function normally on monitor 2 even with GPU acceleration enabled.

Thanks to all the Adobe techies that have solved this (and apparently other) issue(s).

Glad to see it's fixed now.

Confirmed fixed on my 3080 Ti too. Super happy this was addressed, but I have to comment that for some reason it seems slower than it was in the past. It seems to take about a 1.5 seconds to move to either 1st or 2nd zoom. I have these set to 100% and 300%. When I click to zoom to either 1st or 2nd zoom I can see it redraw twice, a little bigger and then to the zoom setting. Maybe it always did that and because it's slower i can see it now. It jumps back to Fit pretty quickly.

On 3090ti, I get sub second response.  There maybe other factors...GPU memory, bus speed, cpu speed, etc....??

How do you jump to multiple presets (#1 & #2).  I can flip between 2 (fit & 100%), but not multiple as you seem to say.

edit:  interesting....as I play...2nd display zoom in/out short cuts work if in Library, but not if in Develop.....Rick...is this another'bug'?

(Sorry for multiple entry...my edit and this post...I thought this would be better seen as separate)

It also works on my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU. Thank you all for bringing this point up and the Adobe team for fixing it.

Just checked 100’s pictures new and old with my Amd RX7900XTX. Can also report resolution of this bug.

Both Library and Develop 2nd monitor zoom work on photos from 2008 forward to late 2023.
Includes both Nikon raw and jpeg. Plus some old Sony and Panasonic jpgs as well (pre 2012)

Thanks for resolution

Hej very cool hint - thank you!

I can confirm that for my machine (Windows 10, NVidia RTX 3050 TI).
Bogus driver before: 516.59 now updated to the current (January 2024) 551.23 studio driver.

Seems that the loupe view now works perfectly again in the latest lightroom classic 13.1.
