P: (Win/Mac) Lightroom Classic 12.0 Unable to export: Watermarking Failed

Hello, I have a problem with export my pictures after update Adobe Lightroom classic catalog. I´m not using watermark. So, I can´t understand this failer error. Can anybody help me please?

I have tried all the steps outlined in this post and also updated to the latest update that came in today.. Still no luck.. crashes each time i try to export with an image/graphic based water mark.

Do you mean that LR is closing and exiting abnormally, or are you getting an error message and the Export stops?  If an error message, what is its precise wording?

I tried these two things suggested by AE here and it didn't work, so I created a new watermark and made it invisible by the opacity option, it worked so when I went to export again I unchecked the box and it works just fine.

I have the same issue after updating LRC CC to V12 catalogue, I tried to cancel, replace, modify, create an empty/fake watermark, nothing works, the reply is always the same and I can't export my photos . I'm using Mac OS Big Sur

Hi there, since the update (LR 12) it is no longer possible to export my photos from Lightroom Classic. There is no watermark in the photo – but lightroom says "Watermark issues". So, what can i do? Best, Nadine

nach dem neuesten Update 12.0 auf kann ich leider keine Bilder mehr exportieren, egal welches Format. Hier wird mir dann ein Fenster angezeigt wo steht, Export nicht möglich: Wasserzeichenmarkierung fehlgeschlagen.

Leider verwende ich kein Wasserzeichen, auch wenn ich dort ein Häckchen setzen würde, geht es nicht.

Hat jemand hierzu eine Idee?

Ich verwende einen MAC Monterey Version 12.6.

• Merci pour vos réponses, j'ai résolu le problème d'exportation de LR12 suite à la dernière maj de CC en créant un filigrane avec les 2 opacités à 0%. Ça fera l'affaire en attendant le correctif.

Hmm, unfortunately, that's the first instance of a crash reported here.

There are many different workarounds posted here.  Did you try resetting LR's preferences and moving all watermark presets out of the settings folder, as described here:

I just updated my Lightroom Classic and now when I try to export a photo, it says "watermark failed" and will not export the image. I am not even using a watermark. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
