Adding geolocation to some GR III DNGs corrupts image data

Dragging specific Ricoh GR III DNGs to a location in the map module and assigning coordinates corrupts the files. When the preview is regenerated, some portion of the photo shows distinctive color bands indicating image data corruption.

Examples are available below. Drag them to a location on the Map module and take actions that regenerate the previews. They will show distinctive corruption.

Using your files and your instructions, I am unable to replicate this issue.
A screenshot showing the corruption might be beneficial.

This is on Windows, Classic 13.0.1. I can provide a binary diff between before/after corruption and will add the corrupted images in that same Dropbox folder.

I've tested both Mac and Windows with your files:

  1. Import photos
  2.  Drag onto map
  3.  Save Coordinates into files
  4.  Discard Existing previews
  5.  Build new previews

No Corruption.

Thank you for the screenshot. I hate to say it, but it looks like classic data corruption due to failing hardware. My recommendation is to check connections/hardware to see if you can find a fault on your end.
