I've grown fearful of my LR classic catalog getting corrupted after encountering corruption a few times last year. I don't want to loose anymore work so I'm backing up my catalog after most edit sessions. I have a concern that the growing number of 700mb backups will eat up my local storage.
I'm wondering if anyone might be able to share a unix shell script that runs on MacOS that would keep the most recent x number of backup folders and delete older backup folders?
thanks
mike

I use a very powerful utility called 'Hazel' for this (and many other folder-related tasks). It's not free, but highly recommended.
