Question

Automatic AI based keyword tagging

Hi

I wrote a little Lightroom classic plugin that uses Google Gemini or ChatGPT to generate keywords, image caption and title from within Lightroom classic. It saves the data directly to the Lightroom catalog.

And the best thing about it, it's free software.

Go check it out: https://github.com/bmachek/lrc-ai-tagger

And tell my your opinion. Any feedback is welcome. 🙂

Thanks.

Uninstalled old plugin, and purchased and installed new plugin. No option to process in plugin extras.

Showing as enabled but not shoing in plugin extras context menu

As clarified via email with support, the menu item is located under Library -> Plug-in Extras, not File -> Plugin-in Extras. Just to document this here as well.  😀

I am very grateful for this pkugin, however when I try to remove Google Gemini from the keywords but leave everything else, it is not being deleted. Do you have any advice? TIA

That's because all keywords are hierarchical beneath the keyword Google Gemini. That's going to change in the next release of the plugin. 😉

The feature is available in the new version at https://lrgenius.com

Great plugin. thanks!

However, it only works with ChatGPT 4 and it doesn't seem to save any keywords, just a caption. I have checked all options. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? Thanks!
