Can lens correction be applied after a crop?

I tend to find that I remember to apply lens correction quite late on in the process of editing an image. I'm just unsure if the corrections are applied to the whole image or whether they are only applied to the current crop I'm working with.

Since LrC Never Changes the original image file (So the Crop you See on screen is just an Overlay on the image) applying a lens correction covers the complete image.

Only when you Export that image is the Crop burnt into the exported image file.

Moreover, the order in which you make changes is irrelevant for LR which always processes the exported file according to its own fixed workflow.
