Can't import videos from Sony RX100 into Lightroom Classic CC

When I try to import a video from my Sony RX100 (the first version of the camera) I get "An unknown error occurred while reading the video file".  However, I also have the standalone version of Lightroom on the same computer and I can import the videos without a problem into the standalone version.  I have tried clearing the video cache and turning off hardware acceleration but nothing helps.  Has anyone else run into this?

Thanks,

Greg

    Which format are you recording in:

    "The Sony RX100 records at three different video resolutions, and can record high-definition movies in either AVCHD or MPEG-4 formats. Stereo audio is recorded during movie capture, encoded as Dolby Digital (AC-3) for AVCHD and AAC-LC for MPEG-4."

    By the lack of response I'm guessing that this is a problem on just my computer?  I tried Adobe support but that was a waste of time, just a bunch of trial and error without answering any of my questions.  I can't seem to get an answer on whether or not A Sony RX100 video in AVCHD (with Dolby audio) is supported by Lightroom Classic CC on Windows 7.

    Oh and I can import videos from my Nikon D7200 without issue.  It's just the Sony I can't import;
