When picking a selection to make it a target selection, the right click menu does not show and option to make that a target selection!

I'm using Lightroom Classic only.
I have logged out and login again
I have shut the computer and re started it again ( a few times)

I have tried to update lightroom from the "update apps" menu

Could some one please help!

Thank you

You have a "Collection Set" selected.  A Collection Set can not be set as a Target, only Collections.

Hi @defaultrpgqlsn5dq89! Thanks for reaching out!

Could you share a few more details about the issue so we can get a better idea of what’s happening? For example, which version of Lightroom Classic and operating system you’re using? If you’re able to share a screen recording showing the steps and the issue in action, that would be super helpful too.

Thanks so much!
Alek

Hi Aleke,

I am using  Windows 11, Lightroom Classic 13-3 (However I have downloaded version 14.4) I'll explain later.

Attached is are images of the menu prompts when I right click on the collection field. The menu does not show an option to make any collection a target collection. Also, I'm unable just to drag and drop images into any collection from the grid view (center panel)

Then I also realized that even though I updated and downloaded the new  14.4 verion of Lrc the  info atop the screen still shows the previous version?!

I have tried everything I know, even dumping temp files etc. Nothing works.

Any ideas. I'm stumped.

Thanks
