Custom preset in mask- need to change to default

Somehow I set up a preset in tone curve in mask and now it shows up in every photo when I click on mask. I cannot reset it to default and eliminate the custom preset. I have to remove it everytime I work on a new photo in Develop/Mask.

Any ideas on how to reset back to default on a custom preset in mask?

Is the option Reset Sliders Automatically checked?

No it is not checked. Should it be?

When it is unchecked, LR will use the same develop settings for the new mask that it used for the previous one. When it is checked, LR will reset all the settings to their default value each time you make a new mask. So I think you want it checked.
