Exporting slideshow

I want to create a slideshow with still photos, videos and background music that I can play on my TV.

My photos are RW2 and videos are MP4, all taken with my Panasonic Lumix camera.  It is my first time shooting RAW.

I have been editing the files in Lightroom Classic, and sending some over to Photoshop for tweaks that cannot be done in Lightroom.

I have created a slideshow in Lightroom, with music, that plays nicely on my computer.  Now I want to save/convert/export or whatever.

I have done some searching and found a procedure for saving my slideshow as a video, which since I want music, seems better than .pdf.  What I can't seem to understand is what I should be doing to the RW2 files...I suspect they cannot remain in RW2 format because they haven't really changed, but I don't understand how to apply my editing to get them ready for exporting.  I imagine it is obvious to everyone but me...I just haven't found the right info in my searches.

I have a Roku 3 with a USB port.  I am hoping I can put the slideshow on a thumb drive and just pop it into the Roku...is this possible?

Please advise...thank you in advance.

      what I should be doing to the RW2 files...

      For this question the answer is --'Nothing', if you are using the Lightroom Slideshow module.

      If you have Developed the photos in the Develop module and you see the thumbnail previews in the Slideshow module as you want them to appear, the Slideshow module will automatically apply your editing to them as it creates the video [Export Video].

      And if you are not satisfied with one photo in the Slideshow, simply press keyboard 'D'  or [Ctrl+Alt+2]

      and it will take the photo back into Development to modify, [Ctrl+Alt+5] will put you back to the Slideshow.

      If you use software other than Lr to make a slideshow, then- you would need to Export the images to JPGs from the Library Grid view, for that software to be able to use.

      Many thanks to JimHess and wobertc!  I exported to video...it saved as an mp4 file, which plays perfectly on my TV through my Roku.  SO much better than the whole family crowding around my computer!

      It's possible to put the video on a flash drive to play it on the TV as long as the video is in a format that the TV recognizes and is equipped to play.
