FPS drop when moving mouse over another area of the UI
Hi everyone, I have a very annoying issue with lightroom classic (haven't tested it with another adobe product yet)..
I have my montior run with 144hz and everything is fine when I start lightroom. Only when I move my mouse to a different area of the UI it drops to 10fps for a bunch of seconds. Like from the mainwindow to the preview slider. Or from the main image to the options bar. Sometimes it will recover after a few seconds, sometimes it will stick at 10 fps until I move the mouse to a different area again and wait another few seconds.
No clue what the cause is, but it makes lightroom feel extremely sluggish and annoying to use.
I also had another issue with scaling of the UI. Everything was way too big, almost as if it was ment for a much larger display. Also in dialogs, a lot of text had its top cut off, as if the position of the text was higher than it was supposed to be. The solution I found for that issue was to enable the option "override high dpi scaling behaviour" to "System Enhanced" in the compatability options of the executable. Not sure if this issue is related to the remaining one, with the FPS drop.
System wise, I have 32GB Ram, an intel 9900k and a RTX 2080ti, which lightroom utilizes. I use windows 10 and lightroom classic and GPU drivers are up to date. No issue in any other programs.. other than Lightroom 😕😕
Anyone any idea whats the cause here and how I can fix it?
