HDR display poor performance

I recently bought a display capable of HDR (LG 29 ultrawide) . Unfortunately, with this purchase the performance problems in lightroom classic started. Everything is now slow. From the interface to the dropdown menus. Even when i try to open file menu, it flashes white.

I tried disabling free sync but with no luck. Tried updating nvidia drivers, no luck.

When i edit a photo and i make changes , the image showed on the screen is not updating in real time. I have to click on it to zoom and then it updates. Even the zoom is laggy.

Without HDR enabeled in windows settings everything works well, but I lose all the advantages of the hdr screen.

This problems occurs in photoshop app too.

I post all my pc config from lr settings

HDR is very demanding on hardware and system resources, especially the GPU. In your case, the GPU is an

DirectX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070

and you're driving 2 displays.

Also worth noting that your GPU dates from 2016. Sure, in it's day it was classed a performance card, but things change. Somehow, I doubt that you can expect modern day performance from a GPU that's 8 years old.

i don't ask for performance, but i can tell the difference between a processing time delay and a bug that flickers my menus and lags my entire app.

what difference in gpu requested power is between using a sdr display and a hdr one if i only zoom a photo and i am not even using hdr editing tools
