I swapped my iPhone 6 for an iPhone 11. Now photos taklen with the iPhone will not sync automatically to my Lightroom CC. I get an exclamation mark and a blank (grey box) photo in Library section of Lightroom. If I take a picture with the iPhone, it uploads to Apple Photos OK, it loads into Lightroom Mobile on the iPhone OK. But, when I try to see the image on my macbook I get the greyed out problem. (File attached with photo of screen)
So, can anyone help me sync my photos over Lightroom Mobile (it used to work)
I'm also confused as to whether I am running the latest version of Lightroom CC as it seems there is now Lightroom and Lightroom Classic. I check for updates in the help tag but I'm still uncertain.
So, am I running the right version of Lightroom
Info from "System Info" as below:-
Lightroom version: CC 2015.14 [ 1149743 ]
License: Creative Cloud
Language setting: en-GB
Operating system: Mac OS 10
Version: 10.14.6 [18G87]
Application architecture: x64

Your Lightroom is years out of date.
Current desktop (not cloud) is called Lightroom Classic and it is at v8.4.1
Do not confuse this with what Adobe now calls Lightroom

I will assume that you have a copy of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App. Apparently you have not been using that to get your updates. Perhaps it is an old version that had update issues.
So, I will assume that you need to uninstall it, then reboot, then install a fresh new and updated copy.
1. Follow the directions to uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App at the following link. Note this is just the one tool, not the various Adobe post processing programs like Lightroom:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
2. Reboot
3. Download and install a fresh new updated copy of the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop from:

The steps I provided just uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.
This app:
The Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App is only that small utility used to install, used to updatre, used to accredidate, the various Adobe CC program.
Uninstalling that will not uninstall Photoshop, Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Bridge, etc.
Many versions back this little app had issues. People were not being informed that updates existed for the various Adobe C apps, People could not get those updates by clicking on the approriate button in the app. An uninstall then reinstall (but with a newer download) was required.
Not everyone had this issue.

Lightroom vs Lightroom Classic.
First up, due to major marketing foulup at Adobe, the two products currently meant to be run on a computer have had various names that have confused the heck out of many if not all.
But I will not list all the inteerations.
Instead:
Lightroom
vs
Lightroom Classic
Lightroom Classic is the desktop version where you normaly keep your photos on a hard drive. This is the traditional Lightroom Program. If youy started way back with Lightomm v1, or 2, or 3, or 4, 5, or 6. This is the lightroom yuo are used to.
Lightroom is the version where all photos are kept on the cloud, on the internet. You run the software on your computer, but the images are stored on the cloud. THis flavor of Lightroom is lacking in options and capabilities. This was an offshoot of the Mobil option in Lightroom Stand alone (and early Lightroom CC)

As for installing Lightroom or Lightroom Classic. When you are in your copy of Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App. The Marketing types apparently decided to place Lightroom near the top, third down in the listing??
As for Lightroom Classic you need to scroll down to see it.

P.S. when including images in postings or replys in this forum. Please avoid using that blasted Insert Attachment button, down lower left. Not efficent. Instead use the Insert Image button up in the edit menu bar.

Hi, I've tried all the links kindly provided. They all take me to an option which suggests that I buy the Adobe Creative Cloud? When I go back i to LR I can still try updates and they say it's up to date, but it clearly isn't. I am now completely mystified. I have a "Licence" for adobe cc that I pay for each month. I can use LR and PS but it appears I am using old non updated versions which just doesn't seem correct. Is there someway of complaining directly to adobe or is that a complete waste of time? Would appreciate further help if you'd be kind enough to do so, you both clearly know way more about this than I do.
