Library mode not displaying preset edits done on import

13.5.1. Seems recent.

I typically import using a preset.  Now after import, Library mode view is not showing the preset edits even after waiting, or leaving and coming back.  What I see is pre-edit / pre-preset.

When I go to Develop looking at one of these, the view updates and the edits show, and then back in the Library view it now has updated.

If I import without a preset and then add the preset after import, those photos get updated in Libary mode one by one and they always show.

It is annoying because I see a photo in Libary and can conclude it is too dark or too light when viewed elsewhere it is fine.

I have looked for a way to "refresh" the Library view which would be a workaround. But I think it should refresh automatically.

What do you use for Previews in the Import dialog? Do you perhaps use 'Embedded & Sidecar'? If so, your previews will be the camera-generated previews, so what you see is as expected. Use 'Standard-sized Previews'. These will be generated by Lightroom directly after import, so any presets will be applied in those previews.
