Lightroom 4 corrupts some files when importing from SSD (windows 7)

Not sure if this is the right place for this question. Sorry.

I'm having an issue with my lightroom 4.... corrupts some files when importing.

I've read other posts about this but nothing has helped.

I want to reinstall from my program files but not sure which one(s) to use.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Lightroom cannot corrupt files, and reinstalling is not going to fix the issue.

File corruption is caused by failing hardware – such as camera card, USB cable, hard drive and RAM.

I'd start with checking the SSD for errors.
