Lightroom - an internal error has occurred. Database is locked (error code 5)

I've clicked on some images in LRC once I've edited in PS but the photos arent saving in LRC and when I click on the image an error message is coming up. 'An internal error has occurred. Database is locked (error code 5)'. I will include a screenshot of error. LRC is up to date so I dont understand why this is happening.

      Posting in here as someone mentioned I posted in the wrong place previously.
