Lightroom 'classic' not working

New Here ,
Mar 23, 2023 Mar 23, 2023

I currently have Lightroom 6 on a Macbook, and have since purchased a iMac. LR was migrated over onto the iMac, but doesn't open at all. I have no need of the Creative Cloud, currently, and would rather just use the software that I own.

Any ideas or solutions to this?

What version NUMBER of the Mac OS is on your new iMac? Lr 6 will not run on the newest Mac OS.

"Any ideas or solutions to this?"- One!

Subscribe to the Photoraphy Plan (20Gb)-  You do NOT need to use any of the Cloud features (except for installing and activation).

And you get Photoshop thrown in the bundle!

It's very unlikely that LR 6 will run on a newer machine, and if it's a new M1/M2, it's impossible.
