Lightroom Crashing Computer
I have had this issue for a number of months now and I am at my wits end for how to get it fixed.
Everytime I use Lightroom Classic and I use a tool that accesses some kind of Ai it crashes my computer monitors. If I have music in the back ground etc, it still plays but my screen's go black and are unresponsive. The only way I have found to get the screens back up and running is to hard power down my entire computer and turn it back on. I can't use a the "select sky", "select subject" or other similar masks, I can't use the auto-denoise feature and I can't use the new "lens blur" option either, to name just a few of the things I can't use without crashing my computer. I also have this issue if I try to export .tif's or any other format that allows me to export in full quality.
My set up:
1. Lightroom Classic (Verison 13.1)
2. Windows 10 Home Advanced
3. CPU - AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 4.4GHz
4. GPU NVidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super (8GB)
Thing's I have tried to do in order to fix this issue:
1) Uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom Classic using Adobe Creative Cloud platform.
2) Uninstalled and reinstalled all drivers on my computer
3) Turning off GPU usage in Lightroom Classic.
4) Run Diagnostics on all computer parts to test their integrity - especially my GPU and CPU
5) Replaced every part of my computer except my GPU and CPU (as those are the most expensive parts of the computer)
6) Upgraded and got new RAM (32GB now)
7) Tested my Windows 10 for possible corrupted files
😎 Uninstalled and Reinstalled Lightroom Classic a second time.
I am willing to do whatever I need to do to get this resolved at it is incredibly frustrating.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
