Lightroom: Images in Library mode versus Develop

Does anyone have this happen to them:

- I shoot RAW on Nikon Z7II

- I import my photographs as embedded & sidecar 

- I open Library, the images are full of color and appealing to the eye 

- I open Develop, and they fall completely flat

 

Is anyone dealing with this issue? I'm losing my mind trying to figure this out. This problem only seems to happen if I'm using mirrorless as well. 

Version: Lightroom 12.3

Make sure when comparing images in Lightroom Classic and Photoshop that first, you view the image in Lightroom Classic in Develop module at 1:1 zoom. IF you have your Edit In preferences set for anything but ProPhoto RGB, say sRGB, set up a soft proof for that color space, again in Develop. Then compare in Photoshop at the same zoom (100%).
If that doesn't work, here are a few things to try in each application, disable GPU in preferences; better? 
If not, recalibrate and build a new ICC display profile; the old one might be corrupted.
If you are using software/hardware for this task, be sure the software is set to build a matrix, not LUT profile, Version 2, not Version 4 profile.
If turning OFF the GPU works, it's a GPU bug, and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it. On the Mac, that's part of the OS update(s), so if this is the latest OS version, you may need to roll back a release.

This is what I found when I went into my ColorSync Utility on my Mac, am I on the right track? I'm not versed at all in this realm of ICCs and displays.

Running Profile First Aid there might help, but it often reports errors that don't exist (or cause issues). So go ahead and run it. 

 

This is the color profile I'm referring to for your display. What shows up there? Can you 'swap it' for another, like P3 or sRGB, just temporarily and let us know if this alters the mismatch or not?
