Hi, I have bougth the lightroom in the adobe webside . I have the sofware amb serie number but It not work. I have called to adobe but they don t have a solution for me. What can I do? I have a lightroom which it don t work but I don t have money

    no,no I have tried the trial version . but I never have bought it. only I bought Photoshop software but never lightroom

    Do you remember it what you bought today was listed as Full or Upgrade.

    Yes it start with 1160 and is 24 number

    Have you ever owned LR before?

    I think you bought the Upgrade version and if you did you also need a serial number from a previous version of LR.

    You first put in the serial number for LR 6 and then it would ask for another serial number and that has to be from any older, Previous, version of LR.

    Can you translate what that screen shot says? I don't speak or read Spanish.

    The LR serial number is 24 number character long and starts with 1160.

    DO NOT POST YOUR SERIAL NUMBER HERE.

    I'm just checking you are using the correct serial number.

    If it is not all number characters or isn't 24 numbers long then you aren't using the right code for the serial number.

    Ok you you bought LR 6 I believe.

    Go to this page and click on the > icon next to where is says Lightroom 6. That area will expand.

    Download Photoshop Lightroom

    You will see this.

    Download the base installer for the OS you are using then scroll down some and download the .14 update.

    The Mac updates are shown in the screen shot above and the Windows section is down a little farther.

    Once you download both files start the installer on the first one. They may ask you to Sign In and then enter the serial number.

    Once that is done install the update.

    I have bought it today, I have bought spanish version. Is it possible that the version that they give me are english version and the serial number spanish version? Are you think that it is the problem? thanks you a lot

    No I don't think so.

    Did it come in a box and is there a number on it that states what version it is, LR 6, LR 5?

    If you post the version number I can direct you to the proper download for it.

    The box will say something like.

    Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and have a number, 4, 5, 6.

    What exactly doesn't work.

    If you describe, in detail, what happens when you either try to install the program or try to run the program we can better assist you in getting it working.

    When I try install the lightroom and I put the serial version it say me this... "NO IS POSSIBLE VALIDAR THIS NUMBER SERIAL FOR ADOBE LIGHTROOM. and the serial number is correct, I call the adobe assiten and they don,t undestant me . Thanks a lot

    Then you have download and tried to install a different version than you have a serial number for.

    When did you buy LR? Days ago, months, years?

    Only LR 6 is available now that uses a serial number and that has been out for over 2 years. Before that there was LR 5 and so on down the line of release versions.

    LR Classic CC V7 is now the current version and only available through the subscription base system.
