LrC - "No Photos Found" issue

Not sure what's going on here, i've just started getting this error message more and more often when i plug my camera in to import.

 

Sometimes over the last week or so as i've been getting this message, restarting the computer has helped - this time arond i've done that a few times and no change, i've already tried changing the 'full disc access' permission which was the only other fix i could find on the forums.


As you can see from the EOS importer there are definitely photos there, i just don't want this to be a two step process every time i import photos so would rather not use that method.

    So i power cycled again and it finally worked, i have a guess, which is that with the EOS importer open LrC would not read the camera too - one function at a time. Not sure why this would be the case,  and i don't know if this is a solution per se, but it did work this time. If anyone has any actual insight i'd still appreciate it.
