Mask Overlay appears but not the outlines. Cannot move or resize masks.

I'm not sure how to say it.  Theres a super short video attached if you aren't riding your buggy on my trail from the explanation that follows.

The circumference of a radial mask usually has a black marker and a smaller black circle inside showing the feather area. Linear gradients usually have 3 black lines denoting the center and boundaries. They can be moved or resized. I'm not getting anything but the red overlay when I place a mask.

This is what I get for a day now. Restarted LRC, restarted creative cloud, checked for updates. Nothing has fixed it.

So while I can see a red overlay, everything else is a guess and if I don't happen to magically lay out the mask boundaries perfectly despite not seeing them, I have to delete it and start again since there's no black lines. I've attempted clicking in the places the lines would be and nothing happens.

I'm on the LRC 11.3.1
Windows 10
i7 7700 3.6ghz

1 Tb HDD

Glad you figured it out and posted the solution.

For those who don't remember keyboard shortcuts, your screen recording shows that you had Show Edit Pins set to Never in the bottom-left corner of the toolbar at the bottom:

Setting it to Always or Auto will cause the mask-component handles and outlines to show.

If the toolbar isn't showing, do the menu command View > Show Toolbar.

Alternatively, you can change the setting of Show Edit Pins by doing the menu command Tools > Tool Overlay.

Also, thanks for posting the screen recording -- if only more people would take the time to do, problems would get resolved so much quicker.

Hey. Thanks for the reply.
I pressed Ctrl+shift+H as suggested and the mask outlines reappeared and can now be edited.
I suppose you spent more time reading the forum than I did.
I appreciate the support.
