Only Some Images Imported From Card — Can’t Find the Rest in Library

I have 25 pictures on my card, but I only have time to edit 10 of them. I highlight my images, click the box in the upper left corner, go to the bottom right, and import. I  see / edit those 10 and then go back to the Library to see the remaining 15 images, but they're not seen. I looked but can't find them. Do I remove/ reinsert my card?   Would appreciate any suggestions, TY.

You only imported those 10 images. If you want to see the other images in the Library too, then you'll have to import them too.
