Bonjour,

Hello,

I just installed the latest version of Lightroom Classic (11.4) on Windows 11 and my RAW files can no longer display correctly in the "Develop" module. I don't encounter the problem in the other modules, the thumbnail display is good, as is the histogram which seems consistent. Only the display in the working area is white (see screenshot below).

I downloaded a new Nvidia driver (it took awhile as I'm on W-Fi in a Health Care facility). This solved the problem.

All of the customers reporting this issue are using Windows. For each of you, as a test, please go to Edit>Preferences>Performance and disable GPU then restart your instance of Lightroom Classic.

Does the problem go away?

If so, then you will need to check your Video Card Manufacturer's website for an updated driver. Perform a clean install of the latest video driver. Go back to Edit>Preferences>Performance and renable GPU.

If not: then post back here that "Turning off GPU and restarting has

I am using Lightroom Classic v11.4.1 on a Windows computer.

Images look like negatives when viewed in the Develop mode.

I reloaded the program, and it still happens.

What could be causing this?

This is a screenshot of an image in the Library mode.

This is the same image in the Develop mode.  All I did was click the Develop button.

Thanks for the prompt assist.  Turning off the GPU did clear up the problem.  I updated the driver, as suggested, and it works!!   I did not even need to reboot the computer or re-start Lightroom.

Curious if anyone has come across this. I went into LRC to edit, and when I clicked the DEVELOP Tab above, the image looks like a faint NEGATIVE. I can see the image below and in the NAVIGATOR Section to the left. It's never done this before. I'll upload a screen shot. I was thinking I may have inadvertantly clicked something, but I just opened the program and hadn't done a thing yet.

Looks like a GPU issue. Turn off the use of the GPU in Preferences- Performance. If this works, then check if there are updates for your graphic card drivers. If so, try the GPU again after you updated the drivers.

Another possibility is a corrupted monitor profile. Temporarily change it to a different profile (like sRGB) to see if that solves it.

Ga naar Voorkeuren - Prestaties en zet daar 'GPU gebruiken' uit. Als dat helpt, dan moet je bij de fabrikant van je GPU kijken of die een update voor de drivers heeft.

I turned off the GPU use, updated the NVIDIA Driver, and turned back the GPU to Auto after the latest Driver install. Seems to be working. Thank you Johan!

Hello,

When I have started up Lightroom Classic,  my photos appear in gray rectangles in the developing module.

Rifbaars_3-1655653411473.png

They are displayed correctly in the library module.

Rifbaars_2-1655653359785.png

Lightroom Classic is working on an Windows (10) laptop, and was 2 days ago updated to version 11.4.

Before that the update LC worked fine. Today I changed my colorprofile with the help op 1X-rite.

How can I solve this problem?

First, try disabling GPU in the Preferences (Performance preferences). Any better?
If turning OFF GPU works, it's a GPU bug and you need to contact the manufacturer or find out if there's an updated driver for it.

Habe folgendes Problem:

Just updated Lightroom classic to v11.4, all i see is a gray screen in the develop module with a very light silhouette of the image. I can see all images just fine in the library module. I'm working on 5DMK4 raw files.

I noticed that if I go to Settings-->Process version-->Version 4, I can see the images, but if I try to make any edits, I get the gray screen again. Also under Process version the current version is listed as Version 5?

My operating system is Windows 10 Home

My work is at a standstill until this is fixed.

I had the same problem. Turning off the GPU fixed the problem.  Then I updated the GPU driver using Device Manager.  Now I can use the GPU and it works fine.
