P: Release 14.2 cannot open Lightroom edited photos in Photoshop 26.5 or Photoshop Beta 26.6.

Ps stalls and nothing happens. No file ever opens.

Two updates ago everything was working perfectly in Ps. Then with the first update, when sending files from Lr to Ps, Ps would not come to the front when opening the file. Ps opened the file (even multiple files from the edit in Ps as layers), but I had to bring Ps forward to see the open file. That was annoying enough, but now with Ps 26.5 I can't use the edit in menu in Lr to open files into Ps, much less multiple files at a time or especially multiple files as layers from Lightroom to Photoshop. I can drag and drop single and multiple files into Photoshop from Lr, but I get no options to open original, copy, copy with Lr changes, nor can I use the edit in Ps as layers from Lr. The program is basically bricked for me. Help

I had the same issue today with LRC unable to open edits in Photoshop (beta) when I updated the beta today to v26.6.  Have been using v26.5 with no issue. I had to roll back to v26.5 to make it work for my workflow today. I hope that it gets fixed soon.

Adobe LrC & Photoshop  Beta Issue with Virtual Copy

Started with a raw file in Lightroom Classic v14.2

1. Using initial import step (oldest entry in history of edits) I created a virtual copy - successfully 
2. Edit VC in Photoshop Beta => opens photoshop beta -> no file is passed to photoshop 

LrC -> Topaz AI Beta

Started with a raw file in Lightroom Classic v14.2

1. Using initial  import step (oldest entry in history of edits) I created a virtual copy - successfully 
2. Edit VC in Topaz AI Beta => Presents options to edit with Lightroom Adjustements, Edit a copy etc and file format
3. Opens the tiff file in Topaz successfully, even quitting Topaz the new tiff file appears in LrC
4. Edit photoshop beta on the new tiff file works as expected.

Note: 

1. attempting to edit the VC in photoshop beta still fails as described above
2. Adding an edit to the VC has no effect on the issue
3. Opening the VC as a smart object in photoshop beta successfully opens the file

I posted similar in the Lightroom Classic area as I'm not sure if it's Lightroom or Photoshop that is the culprit.

This jsut started today. I selected 3 files in Lightroom Classic, right click and choose "Open as layers in Photoshop". After a few seconds, the focus switches to the Photoshop window and then nothing happens. No matter how long I wait, the files never open in Photoshop, not as layers, and the same thing happens when try to open a single file in photoshop. It just refuses to work. I know I'm not doing anything wrong because I'm done this a thousand times the same way. I only noticed this today, and I updated everything to the latest versions of both programs a couple of days ago. 

Is anyone else having this troule and if so, what did you do to fix it? All help will be appreciated!

I edit my initial images in Lightroom. When they are looking nice I open them (from Lightroom) in Photoshop Beta. It's a great workflow. But today after the latest update Photoshop Beta will not open the image. It launches and then nothing. I have already closed both apps, restarted Mac Studio, even tried opening the images from the root folder (which open fine in PS but none of my Lightroom adjustments are there.) Any ideas?

Photoshop Beta 26.6.0

After editing images in Lr, I am unable to transfer images to Ps through the Edit in Photoshop command. I noticed that I am able to transfer via Open as Smart Object in Photoshop. I rather do the former, Edit in Photoshop. How am I able to repair this issue. When using Edit in Photoshop, images freezes in the process, inabling it to be transferred to Ps for further editing.

I'm updated with the latest version. Please assist. Thank you.

Resolved issue by uninstalling Lightroom, Photoshop and Photoshop Beta. Then, reinstalling Photoshop and Lightroom in that order. I opened each after install. Everything worked. Then reinstalled Photoshop Beta and it worked also.

Depuis la mise à jour vers Photoshop Beta 26.6, je rencontre un problème lorsque j’essaie d’ouvrir un fichier RAW (NEF) depuis Lightroom Classic via l’option "Modifier dans Photoshop Beta".

 Ce qui se passe habituellement :

• Lightroom envoie l’image à Photoshop.
• Photoshop Beta s’ouvre et affiche correctement l’image.

 Ce qui se passe avec la version 26.6 :

• Lightroom envoie bien le fichier.
• Photoshop Beta se lance, mais l’image n’apparaît pas (écran vide).
• Aucun message d’erreur.

Tests effectués :

• Retour à la version 26.5 de Photoshop Beta → ✅ Tout fonctionne à nouveau normalement.

Configuration :

• OS : [Windows 11]
• Lightroom Classic : [Version installée]
• Photoshop Beta : Version 26.6

Demande :

Ce problème semble être spécifique à la version 26.6. Y a-t-il une solution ou un correctif en préparation ? D'autres utilisateurs ont-ils rencontré ce souci ?

Having updated PH to 26.5 and PH Beta to 26.6 I find that LRC 14.2 no longer sends files across to either of them when using "Edit in" commands, the Photoshop version will open (if losed) but nothing gets transferred from LRC.

LRC will however transfer files to other products such as Topaz AI.
