Print ettings

I am having issues saving changes in Print Seettings, e.g. when selecting Rear Feed and Media type as I save the data but it reverts back to the Standard Cassette 2 and Plain Paper.

I have spoken to Epson but they have not been able to resolve and told it maybe an Adobe/LRC issue.

I have a Epson xp 8700 print

I am using Mac/Ventura 13.7.4

I have attached three print, the first how I am trying to save, the second, showing SAved and the third how it reverts.

Can you  help pleasee or does htis have to raise as a bug?

When saving Print Settings like "Rear Feed" and "Epson Glossy paper", it is not saving the setting.

I press the save button and also update the preset by right clicking and "update setting' but when I go back into the Print Setting, it reverts to "Cassette 2" and "Plain Paper"

is this a bug in Adobe LRC or any ideas how I can save the serttings.

I am on MAC Ventura 13.7.4

In Print Settings, the Paper Tray (Rear Feed) and Media Type )Epson Glossy) are not being saved and reverts to Cassette 2 and Plain Paper.

I have tried this several times but even though I press save and no error message comes up, the changes I make are not saved.

Also when the photos is printed on my Epson xp8700, from Cassette 2, there are numerous lines through the photo. I have spoekn to Epson and they have changed the printer but this continues to happen.

I have now tried and printed the same photo from Epson Photo+ and from Photos and for the same image, same paper, same output tray, the photo comes out without the lines on it. So the printer prints without the lines on it on other software but when printing from Lightroom Classic, the photo comes out with equidistant lines running through it.

I'm a dual OS guy. PC in the studio and MacBook Pro M1 Max for travel. This appears to be a print driver issue. Did Epson support say that the settings should actually be saved?

If you have access to a PC laptop - borrow one from a friend, test it on a PC. Hook the printer up to that machine, install LrC and the print driver to see how it works there.

I dont have access to another computer or laptop.

Epson just said to uninstall and reistall the driver., which I did with no change.
