Question

Reset Crop using keyboard no longer works in Develop (CTRL + ALT + R)

In develop the keyboard shortcut CTRL + ALT + R does not reset the crop.

When using the menu (Settings > Reset Crop), the reset occurs as expected.

What is your language setting?

en?

from LrC /Help/System Info? :

Lightroom Classic version: 13.4
License: Creative Cloud
Language setting: en

If other than en, this could be a language code error at Adobe.

  1. Yes, language setting is en.
  2. I reset my preferences using the SHIFT + ALT keys at startup. Settings have been succesfully reset.
But: the problem persists. CTRL + ALT + R still doesn't reset the crop.
  3. I also disabled all plugins. No fix.

hmm, I completely overlooked that. I also have a NVIDIA GPU. I failed to notice the NVIDIA popup when I first tested on my rig.

One difference. My Reset Crop occurs (And I get that NVIDIA popup)

Your NVIDIA GeForce Experience, what version? May have been a bug fix on a hotkey

mine: v3.28.0.417

Followup

One additional oddity, on my rig the NVIDIA shortcut for is ALT-R, yet CTRL-ALT-R accomplishes the same. Video below shows how to get to the hotkey settings in GeForce Experience, and shows that hotkey

With the "old" GeForce Experience I had the same behaviour: the popup appeared, but the crop was reset.

Now I use the updated version of GeForce Experience: NVIDIA App, version 10.01.1.256.

I guess the crop not being reset anymore coincided with the Nvidia update.

I've test it on my machine and it works as it should.

Try to reset the LR preferences to the default settings: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:
