Hi! I have no idea how to start a discussion! I’ve read how to use the forums ect ect and I’m over it!

can I ask for your help re Lightroom.

When I export my image at 2550x3300 in at 300 ppi I look at my file and it’s ONLY 2200x3300!! I need it to be specifically 2550x3300 for submission, this is driving me insane and consuming so much time trying to work it out!!!

im not tech savvy! PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Read my remarks above. You have not cropped to the correct aspect ratio.

Well, it's just as I suggested. The original dimensions are 5760 x 3840, which is an aspect ratio of 1.5 exactly. The cropped dimensions are 5081 x 3387, which is an aspect ratio of 1.50015, so virtually unchanged. As we've said before, you have to crop to an aspect ratio of 11.5 x 8, so for example 5081 x 3534.

Thanks so much, yeah I tried that, it still is coming out as 2200x3300, I have no idea why

What are the pixel dimensions of the image AFTER cropping?

What are the settings you use in the Image Sizing portion of the Export dialog box.

If it comes out at 2200x3300 it is because it is a 2x3 aspect ratio. Such a photo, with a 2x3 aspect ration, cannot (I repeat, CANNOT) be exported from Lightroom at 2550x3300, which is a different aspect ratio. In order to get 2550x3300, you have to crop the photo in Lightroom to 8.5x11 aspect ratio. Then it should export at the pixel dimensions you want, 2550x3300
