Sony 28-70 Lens Profile missing

Something strange is happening, bought a Sony 28-70 F2 a couple of weeks ago. Lr classic is up to date, the lens porofile should be available, but still can't find it in the list. LR doesn't recognise it autmattically either. But when I click on the I (information ) in he lens profile box, it says the correct lens, but the image is distorted.

Then that's your problem, because this lens was introduced in Lightroom Classic 14.2. What version of MacOS do you run and on what hardware?

Reinstalling LRC did the trick...

Are you looking at this with a raw file? Lens profiles are for raw only.

Yes, I don't use JPG, only RAW...

So what is the version of Lightroom Classic you are using? "Up to date" means nothing, because that could be exactly the problem.
