There is a tiny white star in the bottom right of one of the folders in the library module. What does that indicate?

The folder has been marked as a Favorite.

Favorite folders can be reviewed by clicking the small down arrow next to the magnifying glass in the Folder search field.

Thank you. I never saw that function on the magnifier glass. But, when I
did that search for Favorite Folders and it showed up in the list, I right
clicked to unmark Favorite Folder and it did not remove the star that
indicates it as a Favorite. No big deal either way. Thanks again for
letting me know what the star was.

There is long time feature/bug in the favouriting of folders: a folder can be favourited as a single folder and/or as a multi-folder group. Though it only shows the star once per folder.

You need to unfavourite both the original selected group of favourited folders (i.e A & B) and single folder A favourite in order to completely remove the star from folder A.

Determining which folders comprise the folder group after a length of time can be challenging if you have many favourited folders.

Use the magnifying glass filter to show only your favourites then proceed in multi-selecting folders by trial/error to find original/correct set of favourited folders. The right click menu will show "unmark favourites" vs 'Mark favourite' when you find correct set.
