Use of object mask?

I have masked an object. Now, how do I delete the object that i have masked? Thanks!

That's not what a mask does. This is Lightroom, not Photoshop. A mask limits the adjustments you make to what is masked. You can try to remove things with the Healing tools, not with a mask, but like I said, this is not Photoshop.
