Virtual Copy Failure in LR Classic

I cannot make a virtual copy of any image, the following error message occurs. LR Classic Win 11

There's an inconsistency in the catalog database (created by a LR bug). First troubleshooting steps:

 

1. Verify it's specific to that one catalog. Make a new test catalog, import a few photos into it, and verify you can make virtual copies.

 

2. Do the LR menu command Help > System Info and copy/paste the entire contents here so we can see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running and important LR options that are set.

1 New catalog is working fine, no problem with creating Virtual Copies.

When I closed down old catalog it would not back-up, a pop-up announced it would attempt to repair catalog when it was opened. This has happened and I can now produce virtual copies.

I have had a number of problems with damaged catalogs recently and I attach my system info, if you can spot any inconsistensies I would be extreemly grateful. Newest version seems to be grabbing memory and not releasing than previous.

Very good. That might help others with similar symptoms.

 

I don't see anything obviously wrong in the System Info. One thing to check: Are you syncing the catalog folder with a cloud service like One Drive, Google Drive, or Dropbox?  There are many reports here that such syncing can cause inconsistencies with the catalog.

No, I only use local back-up for the catalogs. I do ensure I back-up every time I exit LR. I'll ensure I do not sync!
