P: Lightroom Classic: Panel Scroll Bar / Close annoyance

The panel scroll bar and close panel bar arrow section are annoyingly close together. On a 4K monitor (and possibly lower resolutions) the panel scroll bar is so thin that it's easy to press the close button instead. This is frustrating when trying to select the appropriate tool and you just keep closing/unclosing the panels. Is it possible to either increase the size of the scroll bar, be able to lock the panel in place or a mix of the two. Cheers,

That link doesn't go anywhere meaningful.

It's simple, add a preference that shows or hides the field with the little minimzing arrows. I'm sure most users who want to hide panels quickly learn to use Tab instead anyway, we don't need to click an arrow in the GUI. I'm sure every single UX designer will tell you that it's horrible design to have 2 very tall and narrow fields right next to each other at the very end of the window. How could a design choice like this happen, and then be left unfixed for a literal decade? Also, there should be more ways to scroll a pane, such as using the middle mouse button to drag anywhere in the panel, or alt-dragging for example.

Right! It would be nice if they would actually focus on UI and content management (which I thought was the point) improvements.

Im pretty sure at this point, whoever is in charge of making a simple change like this is ignoring it just to be petty.

Yes, this has been an annoying issue for MANY years.  The collapse panels arrows does not have to take up the entire side where scroll bars live. It could be made smaller in height to be just a small rectangle on top and bottom of the arrow.  An option to eliminate it would be terrific.

With all of the wonderful innovations that Adobe has made in LR, this little annoyance presists.  I hit it by mistake everyday.  Can it be that hard to correct?
