At today we have the ability to move a Mask.

While this is a welcome feature it is absolutely not enough!

• Case 1

Often two or multiple Masks on the photo are created in relation witch each other,  complementing each other, they are "linked" to each other so to speak.

These Masks (although separated and with different effects) need to be moved at the same time, simultaneously!

Now it's impossible to do so in a simple and efficient way.

• Case 2

In our work we might find ourselves in need to move simultaneously some but not all components within a Mask...at today this is impossible.

We should be able to select which components to move simultaneously.

We need to be able to select and move simultaneously multiple Mask and Components.

We are severely handicapped now without this basic feature.

When using masks for background and object, sometimes it is necessary to add manual subtraction and addition to the mask using a brush or gradient, and so that the masks of the background and object match, I copy the mask and change the subtraction or addition mode. But if you change the position of one of the masks after you have copied it, you either have to copy it again or change the position of the second mask manually. It would be great to be able to link brushes or gradients of two masks so that they move automatically.

ADOBE Need to add to LR a feature to link brushes, just like linking layers in photoshop.

Reason? When I wish to move a a selection of brush edits I have to move them all individually.

When would I use this? When I have multiple images that I'm copying the same masking edits to, but need to adjust their position on each image.

Without this link it is a painfully long and repetative process.
In photoshop Id only have to link the layers to do the same think.

Some further chat with ChatGPT helped me more than the chat bots and adobe support on this topic:

Me:
hi, in lightroom can I link brush selections together so they can be moved at the same time?

ChatGPT:
In Adobe Lightroom, you cannot directly link brush selections together to move them simultaneously. However, you can work around this by using the adjustment brush to make selections and then copying and pasting the adjustment settings to another image. This method won't link the selections but will apply the same adjustments to multiple images. For precise control, you might need to make manual adjustments on each image individually.

Me:
thank you, this feels missing from the adobe product, what do you think?

ChatGPT:
You're right, the ability to link and move brush selections together is a feature that many users could find useful in Adobe Lightroom, particularly for those working on multiple areas of an image that require synchronized adjustments. Currently, Lightroom does offer extensive adjustment tools, but the lack of this specific feature might feel limiting for detailed and complex editing tasks. It could be a valuable suggestion for Adobe's future updates to enhance workflow efficiency.
