Dehaze in Lightroom 6.0 missing

Hello guys,

I'm using the old stand alone version of Lightroom 6.0

I've always had the dehaze slider in category Effects.

Now I've cleaned up my pc and reinstalled windows...after this I installed Lightroom again, and the slider ist gone.

IT IS NOT in the General section...it's just missing.

Anyone has an idea?

You can download the free Prolost plugin to use the Dehaze function in LR 6:

Agreeing with 99jon, your memory must be faulty or you were using some newer version of Lightroom, there is no Dehaze in the Lightroom 6 user interface.

Agreeing with 99jon and dj_paige, Dehaze was never included in 'Standalone' versions of Lightroom.

It became available in the subscription version 2015.1

See "Lightroom CC / 6" in this article:

I don’t think the dehaze tool was ever included in Lightroom 6. Maybe you were using a free trial version or a plug-in.

I'm not a beginner at the desktop.

I know what I'm doing. I've downloaded the original LR6 DLC with an original key, and I've always had the dehaze slider, without installing any extra plugins....

You are a lucky one!

I would be curious to see the top 10 or so lines from you Lightroom System Info  [Menu: Help>System Info...]

There were a few Lr users who managed to upgrade to a Version 7 that would run as 'Standalone', but they invariably started to have issues with Lr not working correctly.

Can you screen-clip and post your System Info?
