P: Desktop: the Danish letters "Æ Ø Å"

If you in the fields:

Location

City - for example København (Copenhagen)

State/Province

enters the Danish letters "Æ Ø Å" Lightroom cannot find that place / location and the application freezes and must be shut down. Why? And what can I do to make it work?
