P: Versions created while sync paused are not available until after sync reenabled

There's a bug in Lightroom for iPhone 8.2.2 related to versions, the app doesn't allow loading photo versions if sync is paused, even if the photo versions were created locally (so: all data is available locally). Steps to reproduce:

  1. pause sync
  2. edit a photo, apply changes using the "healing/clone/remove" tool
  3. create a new version
  4. What happens: the new version is created with a "(!)" warning, indicating that it cannot be loaded. Clicking on it shows an error: "This Version could not be loaded because you have paused syncing."

What should happen: the new version should be fully working. This was the case in earlier app releases.

Also: when healing changes are removed, it is again possible to create a working version.

tested on iphone 13 pro max ios16.2

I see the status has changed and this is now treated as a bug and being investigated, this is great, thank you for updating the topic.

I'm the meantime, is there any workaround in place for people who cannot enable sync? This continues to be a big issue for me. I work offline and at the moment cannot access versions in the great majority of my photos. This is not the experience that I'd expect from a paid version of a professional photo editing tool.

@Tjano
Most but reports are not actually bugs. SOP is to move bugs to discussions for visibility until a bug can be confirmed. See: https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-ecosystem-cloud-based-discussions/p-do-i-post-in-discussions-or-bugs/td-p/13691888

Thanks for merging the two topics into one, this is useful.

I noticed this topic is now in the "Discussions" section instead of the "Bugs" section (where both were before); is this intentional?
