Noise Reduction with AI does not accept my photo Nikon RAW

Since I made the update of LR , Noise Reduction with AI does not accept my photo Nikon RAW.

I use it for long time ans now it is not working because does not accept or recognize my picture format. It is NEF and no problem except from tomorow update 8.2.

Do you have the same problem ?

This is 4 months later finding this thread and I am having the same issues. Has this been fixed any suggestions on how to fix?

I am having the same issue on my brand new Mac Studio with M4 Max SoC. Denoise does not work on any photo where it previously worked perfectly on my Macbook Pro M3 Pro.

I get the same error message directly after trying to perform the denoise (which is supposed to take 5 min and does not generate a preview of the denoise effect).

And now all of a sudden it just started working by itself...

In my case, it warked after i delete the photo from Lr and uploaded it again. It is on a Windows. Ando it happened only whith 2 pics. I really do not anderstand, but it warked.

Empty the LR cache.

Just chatted with Support an they shut down LR and then in Finder renamed [Username]/library/Preferences/com.adobe.LightroomClassicCC7.plist to com.adobe.LightroomClassicCC7.plist.old and restarted LR and now it works again

I have the excact same problem . no change in camera settings, but Nikon NEF aren't "accepted" any more - I don't even get an error poppup

About a week ago.
used the chat support and they fixed it by renaming a system file under pretences - see my other post

Hi @pascal_cuttoli1132! 👋

Do you get an error dialog when you try to denoise the files? If so, could you let me know what it says? Also, what mode are you shooting your photos in? If you're using Lossless Compressed mode, try switching to High Efficiency and see if that works. Let me know how it goes! Thanks so much! 😊

I am unable to use Lightroom AI denoise on any of my Nikon raw NEF files. I was able to use AI denoise on these files recently but for some reason Lightroom AI denoise is no longer working. If I use the AI denoise feature in Camera Raw it works without any issues which leads me to believe there is a problem with Lightroom.

After running into this issue with all of my NEF pictures, I uninstalled Lightroom completely and reinstalled it. I am receiving the same error message after install.

Please see images below for a screenshot of the Lightroom error message as well as metadata of one of the pictures I'm trying to apply AI denoise to.

Hey, @Jamie30355167icqx. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Is Denoise working with the same files in Camera Raw?

Denoise may not work with Compressed RAW images. Try working with Lossless files & check how it goes.

If the issue exists, please share a few RAW files directly on my profile.

Thanks for sharing the details and the information. I am able to use AI Denoise on DSC9794.NEF in both Local and Lightroom Cloud modes.

If these images are synced to the cloud, try creating an album and right-clicking on the Album name to select > Make Album available offline & check how it goes.

If this does not help, please go to Lightroom > Edit > Preferences > Account > press and hold the ALT/OPT key, select Diagnostic Log, and reinstall Lightroom to check and verify how it goes.

Even if it works post-reinstall, generate the Diagnostic logs again and share both (before and after) diagnostic logs, along with a few RAW+JPEG files (only if the issue exists), with me via direct message.

Please can you help me, my denoise has also just stopped working. Nothing on my camera settings or graphics card has changed.

I tried running denoise on original files already on my computer which had previously been able to use denoise successfully, these also no longer work.

the error reads ' the selected photo is not supported by this feature'
