Crop tool is not smooth

Hello! I've recently encountered that the cropping feature has become extremely "laggy" and is not smooth at all. I've messed with storage and clearing cache with no success, so I went ahead and deleted the app and reinstalled it and it appeared to fix the issue as I used it for a few minutes and then closed it. Now, after opening it again for the second time after reinstalling, it is does the same thing. I'm not sure if this is a phone issue on my end or a software issue on the app's end that I need to wait out. Any help is appreciated!

I'm also having this issue, as well as many other areas slowing down across all platforms--I've tried everything. Upgrading my drivers, upgrading my system hardware, my internet speed, my Lightroom cloud storage space, LR settings and cache size, having LR support remote in and do the same. None of which have helped. I'm beginning to wonder if this isn't an issue with their sync servers, as it seems to be a cross-platform problem.

Unfortunately it did not 😞 I increased it like you said, reopened the app and even restarted the phone with no success.

Google Pixel 8 Pro, Android version 15.

I believe Lightroom is v10.0.2

 

Honestly I can't remember when exactly it happened and if it is related to an update or not. I want to say it's been a couple weeks that I've noticed this.

Thanks for the info! Please go to the Settings for Lightroom mobile, then Local Storage, and increase the Cache size limit from 10GB to 25GB. Once done, relaunch Lightroom mobile to check if that makes a difference.

Hi, we're sorry about the trouble with Lightroom! 

Would you mind telling us the version of Lightroom you're using along with some information about the device you're using the app on, like make, model, and the Android version you're running? 

Did you start experiencing this behavior after the latest update?

Unfortunately I've just gotten used to it 😞 I have forgotten what it is like to crop smoothly
