Edits getting Reverted in Lightroom while moving between images in library

My edits keep disappearing. The moment I'm done editing a photo, go to another and come back,  it reverts back to the original photo. How do I fix it?, please help.

Sorry that your edits are getting disappeared in Lightroom while you navigate between images in library.

Which version of Lightroom are you working with? 

Would you mind restoring the Lightrooom app preferences to default?

Lightroom Classic: See https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html#restore_preferences_to_def...

Lightroom Desktop: Press and hold the Shift + Option + Delete keys.(Mac) or Press and hold the Shift + Alt keys while starting Lightroom. A dialog box should appear asking you restore the preferences.

Thank you for your response. I use light room CC on Windows. I tried this and it worked for about 2hrs, but it reverted again. So I tried using lightroom online, its working so far but I can't seem to find a panel online to edit the gridlines, change scale horizontally, vertically as it is on the desktop app.
