Help me to understand Lightroom saved images before I lose them.

Question

I just canceled my Adobe account for a while. 
 
I have over 4,000 images saved to my Lightroom app on my iPhone. However, I can't see those photos from my Lightroom app on my Mac! Are these images just synced to Lightroom from my iPhone images? In other words, they are not in Lightroom, and that is what is meant by non-destructible images?
 
I did choose the Lighroom Download app, but I only downloaded a little over 400 images. Were these the only images that are really saved to the Adobe cloud?
 
I want to make sure i undersand this correctly and don't lose the images.

Hi @AnotherMe, Let me try to help you figure this out! Once you cancel your subscription, Adobe will continue to store your original images for one year after your membership lapses. You can continue to access all your photos on your local hard drive through Lightroom for the desktop. You can continue to import and organize photos and output your edited photos through Export, Publish, Print, Web, or Slideshow. Access to the Develop & Map modules and Lightroom for mobile is not available after your membership ends. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Check Local Storage: Make sure that your images are saved locally on your iPhone. You can do this by opening the Lightroom app on your iPhone and checking if the images are accessible without an internet connection.

2. Verify Sync: Log in to https://adobe.ly/3EIBFwe to verify that your images are visible and properly synced to the Adobe Cloud. This will help you confirm that your images are stored safely.

3. Backup Images: Once you have access to your images, it's a good idea to back them up to another storage solution, such as an external hard drive or a different cloud storage service, to avoid losing them in the future.

4. Reactivation: If you need to access the Develop & Map modules or Lightroom for mobile, you may need to reactivate your Adobe subscription. This will allow you to sync and download your images again.
