Histogram not showing in Curve

I've just downloaded Lightroom onto a new Windows 11 laptop and while the program works mostly fine, there is no histogram showing inside the 'Curve' box. I've encountered a similar issue a few times in the past, but the moment I make any change to the curve, the histogram appears behind it. That's not the case now - I've closed the program, shut down and restarted the computer but it still isn't showing. It's an important editing tool so wondering how I can restore it, or whether this is a bug related to Windows 11. I'm, using Version 8.5.1

Hi @juri_1868, thanks for reaching out!

Try clicking on the 3-dot menu on the right of the interface and enabling the option to Show Histogram (check attached screenshot).

Hope this helps!
Thanks,
Nikunj

Strange that it's ever present on MacOS @nikunj.m

Isn't the Show Histogram menu item just meant to control the main Histogram, or is this different on Windows, just out of interest?

Hi, I have the same issue. Today I reinstalled Adobe CC and lightroom as I had the CPU overuse bug related to Adobe CC. After reinstalling all software I have no histograms visible anymore. I reset the preferences and that did not fix it for me either.

Hi @Nk1785, welcome to the community!
We haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on our end so far, which might mean it’s something specific to your setup. To help rule things out, could you try resetting your Lightroom preferences? Sometimes a corrupted internal file can cause odd behavior, and resetting can often clear that up by restoring everything to default.
Here’s how to do that: https://adobe.ly/42lnqG6
Thanks so much!

Hi @Aleke thanks for the suggestion but unfortunately that didn't make any difference. The preferences reset on app startup but the histogram is still not showing. Any other advice? Thanks!

@Aleke do you have any other fixes or suggestions? It's still an issue. I've now also updated graphics drivers but still no difference.
