How to properly upgrade from mobile to desktop subscription

Cheers! I currently have a Lightroom mobile subscription plan by Apple and want to upgrade to a desktop plan, which I assume also covers mobile devices. I believe I have to purchase one through Adobe and cancel the other one with Apple, but I am afraid to lose my library and presets. What is the correct way to do this? In what order can I do this and how can I make sure nothing is lost?
